Needs
My supervisor during my John Hopkins Applied Physics Lab internship was extremely helpful, and he got me started with basic knowledge of networks and packets, and helped me familiarize myself with Linux
Sahil, the current XR club president, was also very helpful, mentoring me on how to use Unity and C# scripting
Kevin of the Robotics at Maryland software team also mentored me on using ROS and gazebo, which are two useful skills to have
Jennifer, my supervisor at the IT service desk, has been very patient in teaching me how to deal with all types of customer situations as well
I definitely benefit from having a mentor who is more experienced in a particular com sci field than me, and I will try to be a mentor to someone else when I become a junior or senior
Asian Americans are not as racially discriminated as other minority groups, but there are still racial stereotypes that might hinder my journey. I believe through hard work and pure skill I will be able to succeed regardless

I have also made beats using my synthesizer, and if things don't work out as a software engineer, I could look into a career involving digital music
I've always wanted to become a movie critic, because they get to watch movies early by attending press screenings. Becoming a movie reviewer could also be an alternative career path for me.
