        It provides scientists and individuals access to new raw materials. e.g the satellite has been broadcasted around the world by Elon Musk.
      - Cons:
        
        Space exploration can costs a lot of money as in 2016, the budget for NASA was $19.3 billion.
      - Economic, social and political aspects/ influences of science exploration
        
        Economic
        
        Space companies such as Space X and NASA have paid millions of dollars to send spaceships to space, which can affect the U.S's economy.
        
        Social
        
        People and scientists are gaining a better understanding of comets and new planets such as Kepler 452b due to space exploration.
        
        Political
        
        People are petitioning to stop government’s from investing in space exploration and launching satellites.
  - - - Laparoscopic surgery
        
        The surgical procedure is performed by a surgeon who inserts a tube into an artery in the groin or wrist. They then thread the tube towards the affected artery around the heart. Finally, they insert a balloon or stent (metal tube) to open the artery.
        
        Advantages:

        Throughout the 20th century, planes and its features were developed due to new technology being introduced.
        
        From WWI, flight technologies have changed as WWI, WWII and the Cold War have motivated governments to fund scientific research into flight.
        
        After WWII, we have started to investigate flight beyond our planet to the moon. Scientist’s knowledge and understanding have dramatically changed when the government funded moon missions.
  - - - Building dams can be politically, economically and environmentally controversial. For instance, the U.S. government does not want to take down the hydroelectric dam along the Columbia system, demonstrating that political aspects are becoming involved in the damming river problems.
        
        Dams cost to much to generate power like hydroelectric power
        
        Dams can be impactful as the water and organic materials that would wash downstream would get built up behind dams and start to consume a large amount of oxygen as they decompose. This can trigger algae blooms and as a result create oxygen - starved “dead zones” that do not support the river’s life.
        
        Fish passage a concern in dams as fish like salmon can not survive the downstream/ trip.

        Dams can create hydroelectric power, which is created when water passes through a dam turbine
        
        Dams are good at controlling waterways.
