        a city with a population that is twice the size of the second-largest city in the country. These cities also cause problems, this city controls much of the countries power. This could cause underrepresentation for other regions and control most of the economy.

        Vancouver is a city in British Columbia, Canada. A small community had gentrification occur, low income housing closed, low income people moved away. The land value did increase and more people moved in.
      - Canada
        Holds the city of Vancouver and started the gentrification within communities of Vancouver and many other cities.

        a immigrant that has proper documentation, this would make it a legal crossing into a country. This relates to refugees as some are able to enter countries with proper documentation.
      - Undocumented Immigrant
        a immigrant that does not have proper documentation to enter a country, someone undocumented could be a refugee but not having documentation to enter a country legally.

        Is a country in the Middle East, a civil war started in 2011. The civil war caused many to flee their homes and become displaced, it started the Syrian Refugee Crisis, thousands of Syrians fled to neighboring counties overwhelming them.
      - Refugee
        a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster. The largest amount of refugees came from the Syrian Refugee Crisis and this was due to a civil war.
      - Asylum
        the protection granted by a nation to someone who has left their native country as a political refugee. This relates to refugees fleeing from their countries, as this would be a place for them to stay

        Container ship
        a ship that is designed to carry goods stowed in containers. These are large ships that run the global supply chain, most goods are transported on container ships.

        merchandise or possessions. Goods are many products from food to automobiles. This is part of the global supply chain, goods are primarily transported with container ships when transporting abroad.

        Choke point
        a point of congestion or blockage. In this way of meaning it's a passageway for goods to be transported but impaired, the main example could be the many waterways or canals connecting the supply chain with container ships
        
        Scarcity
        the state of being scarce or in short supply; shortage. This is one of the main drivers of trade, if a nation can't produce a resource then they can just trade for that resource.

        China is a major country when it comes to population, trade and manufacturing.

        Canada is a major trading ally with the United States.

        is a major trade ally with the United States.

        commodity
        a raw material or primary agricultural product that can be bought and sold, such as copper or coffee. These are typically a rare resources countries heavily export to gain wealth instead of service and manufacturing jobs. This could be bad for an economy as many countries exporting large amounts of commodities are based around a commodity, so if the price drops or a disaster wipes out production then the economy could collapse.
        
        Comparative advantage
        the ability of an individual or group to carry out a particular economic activity (such as making a specific product) more efficiently than another activity. This is a real advantage to many nations when producing goods to trade with, it is a region better suited to create goods with it being cheaper.
        
        Specialization
        the process of concentrating on and becoming expert in a particular subject or skill. This has a region specialize on creating a good for cheap and exporting it.
