Migration
Refugee - A refugee is someone who has descended from a different country because. (Someone who has came to the USA "A.K.A" the land of opportunity, from places such as Mexico)
Immigrant - Someone who is forced out of their home because of something out of their control such as war or politics. (a young boy and his family was forced to flea their country for their own safety)
Undocumented Immigrant - Also known as an "illegal immigrant" is someone who is forced to flea their home but when living in a new country is still undocumented and not a official citizen. (a family from Pakistan decides to flea the country due to war, they sneak into the USA with out becoming a official citizen of the USA, they get caught and are deported back to Pakistan)
Carrying capacity - Carrying capacity is when a vehicle is at its capacity of objects or people and can not hold any more. (If a group of Immigrants try to cross the USA boarder in a vehicle, the vehicle is at its Carrying capacity so some of the Immigrants are not able to go along)
Rural to urban migration - pull factors - If resources that you are not able to acquire in a rural area are scarce than they are needing to migrate to a urban area that has something like a super market witch is where they can acquire those resources.

Globalization - The advancement of earths technology and our economy. (Globalization has happened with the way we travel, such as now planes and car's have TV's in them)
Mega city's - a mega city is massive city with towering sky scrapers and lots of buildings. (An example of a Mega city is new York and Tokyo)
Creative Destruction - Creative destruction is innovation on older commodity's or structure to turn them into something new and improved that benefits the community for the better. (The iPhone's 2-8 had home buttons, then apple decided that the home button was not convenient and so the changed the mechanism to a swipe instead of a pres)
Gentrification - Gentrification is when a building or home is renovated and remodeled. (My house is out dated and we want it to be up to date with the generation so we decided to remodel it to give it a more modern feel)
Losers from globalization - A loser from globalization is someone who has lost something instead of gained something from globalization. (A looser from globalization is maybe someone who had their job replaced by technology)
Rural - A rural area is the opposite of a urban area, it is a large open piece of land that is away from city's and urban areas. (a country side farm house is a example of somewhere in a rural area)

Goods - goods are things such as food and electronics that are exported to different country's. (Canada exports goods to the USA such as maple syrup)
