      - People who loose from globalization are domestic producers and countries who products have gone obsolete and the farmers who create the natural products.
      - People who win from Globalization are the countries with new products like technology and countries with the means to import and export.
  - - - For example USA imports more then they export leading to a negative balance of trade.
  - - - Goods are tangible objects
        
        A commodity is an example as they are raw materials or agricultural goods that can be sold. This helps with economic gain for countries and the overall increase in spreading Globalization
    - - Services can be legal help for global issues or it can be banks that help exchange currency. This can help with ties and help for countries.
    - - Capitol/Money/Investment is putting your money into another country that be it property or a factory. This helps with globalization because of increasing economic gain in a foreign country and also making it easier for trade amongst countries.
  - - - USA biggest Trade Partners are Canada, Mexico, and China
        
        Biggest Importer is China
        
        Biggest Exporter is Canada
  - - - Not enough in the country or can't produce it in a country. This then causes courtiers to work together and trade amongst each other increasing Globalization
    - - They specialize in something they are good at making or have the land and the tools to produce it. This helps with countries trading abilities and increases their economic gain.
    - - They are better at making this product than anyone else. With this like specialization it can help increase trade amongst countries and increase the overall economic gain of a country.
  - - - Improved Living and More Products
        
        (GDP) Growth Domestic Product is the value of all trade in a given time period. This tells how globalization is going round the world.
        
        Per capita is the measurement of person person in accordance to a product or towards travel. This tells the amount of a single product is being sold in a country and how to improve globalization
      - Cheaper Products since you don't need to do it domestically
      - Creates more jobs focused on importing and exporting.
      - Exposure to new ideas and products creating more knowledgeable people and helping with education
      - Opportunities for increasing cooperation among countries and governments.
    - - Domestic Job loss causing people to focus on international jobs or going outside the country.
      - Loose economic independence if you rely on outside countries.
      - Exploitation of People and Resources

        Environmental damage and loss for many species of animals.

  - - - A container ship is a large ship that holds a ton of containers that travels though the ocean to help with globalization and trade.
- - - - This is one who has been allowed to stay in the country and is able to live and stay in that country. This is the safest way for people to migrate to a certain country , since they can't be deported
    - - This person has gotten into the country illegally and has the chance of being deported to their original country, no matter the situation. This is an issue for countries and migration, seeming that they can be millions of people illegally in a country. And could cause an increase of people who are homeless.

        The United Nations Refugee Agency is responsible for helping refugees make it safely to a country and help them find asylum. These are a very helpful tool for Refugees and migration as it makes the process of helping refugees, a lot more safe and easier.
      - This is a place that allows refugees to migrate. This is a key factor for migration as it is the place that all refugees go to. If there was no Host Countries, then refugees would be IDP's
    - - This is a person seeking shelter in a Host Country. Migration of refugees could cause millions of asylums to be taken up and could cause a shortage of asylum and refugees could be homeless.
  - - - An IDP is an Internationally Displaced person who is forced to leave their country, but has not left yet. This is the beginning process for migration and could tell Host Countries to prepare to help the new refugees.

        A mega city is a place with over 10 million people. These places are usually hotspots for how Urbanization is good for society.
        
        An example a Mega City is New York with over 18 million people
      - Primate City
        
        An issue with primate cities is they have too much control over economics and politics and that they can be the only area that get Urbanization whilst the other areas are suburban or even rural.
        
        A primate city is a place where the population in that city is at least twice the population of the second largest city. These are mainly massive areas of Urbanization and can be seen to help with economic gain and spread Urbanization
        
        Examples can be London, England, Mexico City, Mexico, and Paris, France.
      - Types of Cities
        
        (Urban Sprawl)Slowly spreading out your urban area over a period of time.
        
        (Growth along transport axis)There is transport axis's where you cities lies and you spread your city across those axis's, to help with travel around your city.
        
        (Satellite Development)This is not really connecting from your already existing Urban area but rather adding smaller urban areas by it.
        
        These all focus on the spread of Urbanization
        
        (New city center)This is basically building an entirely new urban area for your city.
      - Characteristics Of A City
        
        Infrastructure
        
        This is the physical and organizational structure of society. This helps present Urbanization, and show what can happen to an area, by demonstrating how the urban areas behave and function.
        
        Carrying Capacity
        
        Carrying Capacity is the number of people an environment can sustain. This helps positively and negaticly for Urbanization. Positively because of the new people who are able to do their job in the urban environment and help spread Urbanization. The negative is that they need to build infrastructure for all the people who live in an urban area.
        
        Dense Area of People
        
        Population is always higher in an area of large infrastructure. This is good for Urbanization because, if more people are there, there is more economic opportunity leading to more growth of Urbanization
        
        Diversity
        
        Diversity can be racial or income, no matter what urban area you go to, it tends to have a lot of diversity. With more diverse people it tends to make more people of the same ethnicity come to your urban area.
      - Push out of rural areas
        
        Lack Of economic opportunity
        
        No possible health care or even a hospital in a mile of your area.
        
        Not the greatest education since their is a lack of infrastructure and funding.
      - Pull to urban areas
        
        More job opportunities
        
        Family may live there so it is an easy way to get out of rural areas.
        
        It's an overall exciting place for new people.
      - Both of these areas are reasons that help with the spread of Urbanization
    - - Favela
        
        A favela is a slum suburbs in brazil that is under control of gangs and crime, but is also home to creativity and expression, this is a good example of letting the people do Urbanization because of how it has attracted more people to come
      - A suburb is an residential area outside of the main urban area. This is the main start to the beginning of a spread of Urbanization.
    - - Rural to Urban Migration
        
        With more migration to the Urban areas from the rural, it impacts the infrastructure due to the amount of people moving and causing a delay in the spread of Urbanization.
      - Brain Drain
        
        Brain drain is where people with exciting career opportunities are leaving to urban areas because of no options there impacting rural areas because their loosing possible funding, and loosing there possibilities of Urbanization
      - This is the opposite of a city because of how much land there is and how spread out people really are, this is the exact opposite of what Urbanization is trying to do.
  - - - This is the process of rebuilding or revitalizing an area to make seem more attractive and attract tourists, this can help economically but also can help spread Urbanization by rebuilding some of the worn down areas that are a bit outside of the standard urban area.
      - Vancouver, Canada
        
        This was a place the generally was a low income area until the government started to due Gentrification there. This was a reason that Urbanization could be an issue as it caused some people to pay more expensive bills and be forced to move.
