Contents
No fees for lesson in primary school
Primary school
-Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK)
-Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK)
Schooling until age 15 years old for continuation school
More than 15 Muslim pupils, religious class will be provided. Similarly for Tamil or Mandarin class
Emphasis on moral values
Provided trained teachers and education aids
Empowering the national language
The establishment of common curriculum
Aminuddin Baki Report 1964
Uniting the students to become citizens of Malaya, which can live in harmony in a country which has different beliefs and races
Introduced the " Penyata Aminuddon Baki "
Reasons
Proposed the government to issue that students can only quit school at the age of fifteen
Provide the student with suitable occupation as soon as they leave school
Provide various occupation opportunity
Introduce various courses in education to cater and produce various technical skills of manpower
Cabinet Committee Report
Objective
“ .. to review the goals and effectiveness of the present education system for the purpose of meeting the manpower needs of the country, both for the short and long terms. Besides to also ensure the education system meets the country’s goals of producing a united disciplined and skilled society. "
September 1974, the committee was chaired by Dr Mahathir Mohamed also the Deputy Prime Minister.

All levels of schooling (pre-school to tertiary education)
All categories of schools

-Main medium of instruction under the national education system
-Compulsory subject for all schools and educational institutions
