(From my paper) Consumer behavior is the study of individuals, groups, or organizations and all the activities associated with the purchase, use and disposal of goods and services, and how the consumer's emotions, attitudes and preferences affect buying behavior. Most real estate leases or purchases require a lot of decision-making but also is a high quality good. For a product to be reviewed by a consumer, they must know it exists and how it will help them gain money if they invest. When a consumer thinks about buying a product, they usually go for the ones that have the most positive traits about the product. For example, a consumer might go for a house that has a gaming room, pool, 2-door garage with an inconvenient location rather than a less positive attributed home with a convenient location. Looking at consumer behavior towards real estate, it does fit because the consumers are buying or renting out a place, they like which brings in us money.
