auditor-general
submits reports regarding government budgets and keeps track of the government's financial status and money spent. furthermore, they also control the national audit office
president
serves for six years and is nominated by the president of taiwan and approved by the legislative yuan. they are the chairperson and are responsible for overseeing the yuan.

can also censure government officials, basically reviewing or providing a formal complaint regarding a particular official

examination yuan
president

high court
judges can serve for life, they are resoponsible for ruling over charges and sentences given.
district courts
judges can serve for life. they are responsible for handling civil, criminal and summary sectors as well as cases.
supreme court
judges can serve for life, any crime charge can be admitted. they are the highest court and the example that the other courts follow. whenever there is a vacancy, the president will nominate a new candidate for the position, which then has to be agreed to by the senate.
special courts
disciplinary court
handles cases concerning punishments, especially those centering around citizens or people that serve the government.

legislative yuan
president
serve for four years per term. elected by the 113 legislators and can be president for two terms following each other. they represent the yuan and call meetings.
vice president
they are a presiding officer and steps in when the president is absent or cannot serve. they don't have a limit for how much time they can serve.

vice premier
is a deputy to the premier and is chosen by the president and premier. they take over proceedings when the premier is unavailable and provide help.

chosen by the president of taiwan. is the head of the government and can be removed by the president at any time.

president
the president of the united states is chosen every four years and can serve for two consecutive terms at most. they can be impeached by the congress. they handle any diplomatic treaties and international relations, make decisions for the government and represent the nation. they can create laws, sign or veto laws.
vice president
the vice president is in line to succeed the president if anything should happen that renders the president unable to serve. they are elected every four years, but there is no term limit.
cabinet
are chosen by the president and must be approved by the senate. their job is to provide advice and preside over the federal executive department.
judicial branch
courts of appeals
are nominated by the president and approved by the senate. judges can serve for life, and they are responsible for listening to the people as well as district courts and influencing decisions

serves whenever the president of senate is unavailable, rule on points of order and claim the same rights as the rest of the senators.
speaker of house
elected during congress and leads the house of representatives. they can serve for as long as the house desires.
president of senate
the vice president. are elected along with the president of the united states and has no term limit. they pitch in on official decisions and step in if the president cannot serve, but they are not allowed to vote in the senate.
senators
a total of one hundred members of the senate with two from each state. are allowed to vote during impeachment trials, approve treaties and confirm official statements.
house members
435 voting representatives, 6 non-voting representatives. rules over federal legislation, tax bills and impeachment.
