Diagnostic Evaluation:
The diagnostic evaluation allows knowing the previous knowledge and having a better idea of the context of the group and of the individuals with whom the teacher works
Formative Evaluation
The formative evaluation allows obtaining information to find out the learning situation during the process to give it permanent feedback.
Accumulative Evaluation
This evaluation allows to determine the scope of the learning objectives. Generally, such an assessment is used at the end of the development of a learning objective or at the end of a unit or school period.
Summative evaluation.
It is a process by which the results of a learning process are studied once it has been completed. Its main objective is to check how much students have learned, so it focuses on collecting information and developing reliable evaluation methods.
Evaluation Criteria.
All evaluation activity, based on observation, work samples or tests, has in common the existence of evaluation criteria. The evaluation criteria are an estimate or characterization of the type of learning that students are expected to achieve. In other words, the criteria make explicit what is understood by the quality of each learning.
The means of evaluation
they are each and every one of the students' productions that teachers can collect, see and / or listen to, and which serve to demonstrate what students have learned throughout a given process. They can take three different forms: written, oral, and practical.
Evaluation Key
Evaluation involves comparison between the objectives imposed on an intentional activity and the results it produces. It is necessary to evaluate not only the results, but also the objectives, the conditions, the means, the pedagogical system and the different means of its implementation.
Evaluation techniques
Observation, Student performance, Performance analysis, Questioning.
Test, tasks, presentations, Investigations, Dialogues.
The main role of evaluation is to collect information about learning to make value judgments about this learning and provide feedback on the process supporting students and teachers in achieving educational objectives.
