When my brother started playing soccer in high school
It was his first year playing high school and he tried out to play in the SHS soccer team.
My brother "Roberto Castro" had made the team and was so happy he made it.
He was so good he was asked to also play in the older team with older players.
He also joined that team and also became one of the best midfielders there.
They one a lot of games and tournaments as a team.
When it was his last year playing soccer in high school
He was in his last year and was deciding to quit school and play pro or finish school.
He had offers from college because of soccer.
He told us that he wanted to finish school and not go pro.
He said soccer wasn't really important to him anymore.
Didn't accept any pro teams.
When he played soccer in college
My brother played soccer in college just as a hobby
He was still good
He played soccer games and won some games and lost some games as well
One day, he got injured from his ankle and it turned purple and black
He couldn't and didn't play soccer anymore.
When he gave me the jerseys
I think he gave me the jerseys in the winter of 2019
I called him to ask if he still wanted all of his old clothes through the phone because he moved to California for school.
He said if I can trust him and if I would take care of one of his most priced possessions.( His soccer jerseys and shirts)
He said ok but I have to take good care of them. It seemed like if he wasn't sure to give me them but he was able to trust me.
I said there in good hands. He said OK, those are really important to me so please take good care of them. I said "Don't worry, I will".
He said one day he would love to see us again and that he misses us. I said we all miss you too, hope you come visit some day or well come to see you. He said that would be great. So we said our goodbye's and I was trusted to keep good care of his valuable jerseys and shirts.
