Assimilation
It is a process in which the sounds change and becomes similar to the neighboring sounds. It allows English speakers to talk more naturally and in some cases, this effect is more noticeable or not, it depends on the speaking style of each one.
Progressive: It happens when a sound changes to the sound that was pronounced before it.
Regressive: In this assimilation process, the phoneme that comes first is affected by the one that comes after it.

Palatalization
Palatalization refers to the hard palate or the roof of the mouth in which are pronounced different sounds. This process in which consonants are pronounced in that place is called palatalization.

Dissimilation
The process in which some sounds becomes too different from their nearby sounds is called dissimilation.

Delection
It is a process in where some sounds are not clearly pronounced or are omissed depending on the context and type of deletion.
When /nt/ is located the /t/ is deleted.

/t/ or /d/ sounda are deleted when a group of three consonant clusters is formed.

In this case, /t/ or /d/ sounds are deleted of word-final when clusters of two at a word boundary when the following word begins with a consonant other than /h, y, w, r/.

It is a grammatical process in where the pronunciation of word or endings are affected depending of the environment in which these or words are located.

Adjustments in the English language, are a set of the different linguistic processes like assimilation or deletion that are used to order and the speech sounds to sounds more natural and fluent.
Linking
Linking is a linguistic process in which the last consonant join to the next sound of the following word. In this way, this process is used to make a more natural and fluent speech.
Epenthesis
Epenthesis occurs when a consonant or vowel is added in a word. This process is commonly made by foreign speakers because they try to adapt the English language to the rules of their native language because are more familiar or easier to pronounce, so they add an extra vowel or consonant in different parts of a word.
