Good/ bad level design
This depends on the type of game but I am going to be using open world games as an example
Bad
Too simple meaning that you can't get an idea of what the area is, or to much detail which makes you spend to much time on it when it might not end up being used.
Having inconsistent scale for your level can make modelling take longer and more difficult.
Good
To a consistent scale through out the area to make it easier when 3D modelling the more detained version
Simplistic but still able to gives you an overview of what the environment will look like
