Parking at JMU :warning:
Weather Condition

Extremely dangerous driving conditions may also empt parking lots as many young drivers are not capable to drive in dangerous conditions.

Available Spaces
JMU is constantly renovating and growing as a campus which will effect the overall space parking is possible in a positive or negative way.
Available space may also be a parking concern as more housing and buildings are built, the more students JMU will provide with education for years to come.
Parking will be questioned by students looking to purchase passes as they want an available space but there is uncertainty regarding if they'll even need a space.

Location of Spaces
Parking spaces in non ideal locations may persuade students to not park on campus as spots may not be available where they need to go.
Location also correlates with safety depending how close the spaces are to main campus where security is very present.

Alternate Transportation
Will busses be operating normally with all of the uncertainty and if JMU upgrades on campus transportation methods such as the birds, less parking may be needed.
Campus transportation during inclement weather may also be a factor in the amount of students who may require a parking permit.
