ANABOLIC STEROIDS
What they are?: A steroid hormone which prompts the growth of muscle, better performance, and endurance and shortens recovery time between workouts.

Which athletes use them?: Sprinters, weight lifters
BETA-BLOCKERS
Calming, decrease anxiety by counteracting the adrenaline that interferes with performance by preventing it from binding to nerve receptors.
Why used: Improve accuracy in precision, through studying nerves. Calm performance and aid performance by keeping heart rate low + decreasing trembling hands. Widen arteries allowing more blood flow + reducing involuntary muscle spams.

Who?: High precision sports, eg. archery, snooker, golf.

What?: Natural hormone produced by kidneys to increase RBC's. Now artificially manufactured to increase Haemoglobin levels.
