Kubernetes - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Kube proxy - maintains network rules on pods that allows network communication
      - Container runtime - runs the containers
      - Kubelet - agent on node, ensures containers are running in pod
    - - kube-scheduler - watches for new pods that are created and assigns them to a node
      - kube-controller-manager
        
        replication controller - responsible for maintaining correct number of pods for each replication controller object
        
        Endpoints controller - joins the pods and services
        
        node controller - responds when node goes down
        
        Service Account and Token controller - create default accounts and API access tokens for namespaces
      - etcd - HA store for cluster data
      - cloud controller manager - links cluster to cloud provider's api
      - kube-apiserver - exposes kubernetes api, scales horizontally
