Balance
It can also be said when it comes to balance the objectives of the game are balanced out well as the obstacles are placed in such a way that it makes it both difficult and fun at times to play the game and with this the collection of items balances the game out well as each item serves a specific purpose that allows the player to move through the different levels helping them get past obstacles which in other words will be harder to pass with these items which in turn balances the game play and difficulty in that regard but as stated above the boss and player powers need to be balanced more.
-The game is not very balance in terms of player power and
boss power whereby the player overpowers the boss with their attacks resulting the boss dying faster and the player progressing faster which needs to be tuned down in order to make the game more challenging for players and more fun to play.
Meaningful Choices
while playing it can be said the player needs to determine what item to use when the reach while progressing through the game as each item does certain things for example there is water ammo which a player can collect in order to shoot down walls which are made of fire and boost ammo that allows players to get pass fast moving obstacles but theres a catch as mentioned above these items are normal opposite each other and player cant get both at times so they need to choose which one they need most which in turn makes the choice meaningful.
-but with I believe more objects should be added to the game to make it more interesting for the player before reaching the boss whereby new items are added in order to determine certain outcomes for the player based on those choices.
the choices in the game depends on the player as the player needs to decide what items to collect while moving through the map because each is placed in such away that the player needs to choose which to get while moving , forcing the player to make quick choices within the game which could have an impacted on how they will progress or even reach a boss for a certain level.
Motivation
there is a score system that records the player score which motivates the player to play the game to get a highscore within game making it both fun and challenging for the player , with this it also motivates the player to try beat other player scores within the game and even try to beat their own score which further motivates the player to play the game
another motivation to play the game is challenges and difficulty to get pass those challenges within the game which are the obstacles within the game which makes it fun as well as allows the player to think while moving through the game which links up with meaningful choices within the game
I believe more motivation should be added to game whereby the player earns stuffs after completing certain objectives or doing certain stuff while moving through the game these item which could be unlock could be in the form of player skins or special ammunition that gives the player more power or even makes the avatar look cooler for the player which could motivate the player to continue playing the game with this adding a trophy system to the game could also motivate the player whereby it links up with score and if you beat the high score you earn a trophy within the game.

another reason to play game is to beat the bosses within the game and reach the final level without dying because the player dies they lose their points so having a highscore system within game will making it more challenging and competitive for the player motivating them to play the game in order to achieve that highscore within the game.
Usability and Learnability
Usability- The game is easy to use and is straight forward in terms of navigating the game and using the various functions as well as players can go to the menu of the game and read up on how to play the game and what each button used in the game is used for. Navigating the game is user friendly and straight to the point as well as playing the game as it makes use of limited amount of buttons which does not over complicate things or overwhelms the player.
the game is easy to learn and understand as everything is explained to the player as there is an option which explains each every button used in the game as well as explains each item within the game and what those items are used for making it easier for the player to learn the game and play game.
what can be improved
the overall presentation of the information to learn the game making it more easier when learning to play the game.
-Even though the game is straight forward and easy to understand I believe there is room for improvement whereby I can make the movement of the player a little more smoother as well as improve on how the player jumps making the games usability a little better as well.
Aesthetics
the aesthetics of the game in level 1 are a little mediocre and needs a little more work put into it to improve the overall look of the first level as well as the player needs to be designed better and have more appealing look within the game. But i believe that with a little work it could look amazing.
the second level has a much better design and the feel to it suites the idea of space within that level but a little improvement needs to added to the houses within the level whereby it could look more suited for a space colony. The overall level is designed well and is appealing within the game adding to fun to play aspect of the due to how it looks.
level 3 has a very nice design as some of the students outside of game development really liked the candy level design with all its different colours which is very appealing to players, it really brings out a bright look to the game making it more visually appealing.
the boss designs for each level makes sense and suits their environment well especially for level 3 as people said the boss looks cool within its environment and is aesthetically pleasing.
