Covid-19 - Coggle Diagram
Covid-19
How fatal is the virus?
How does this vary for people?
Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes, Cancer = more dangerous
Made doing treatment for cancer stressful & people debated stopping treatment
Harder for diabetics to get appointments
Senior citizens are at higher risk because low immune system
Believed to be 1% or 0.1%
Not enough reliable data on how many cases are active and how many are recovered.
Lack of data makes fatality rate rely on models to try to infer the fatality rate based on incomplete measurement.
Rate can't be measured until death occurs.
The use of models results in higher death rates than what is real because it doesn't account for treatment.
We will have to wait for more time to pass before an accurate fatality rate can be calculated.

How is the spread rate for Covid quantified?
Source:
https://arxiv.org/pdf/2004.01105.pdf
In order to calculate the spread of Covid, an equation was created
The change of behaviors is also taken into account, as long as when the change occured
Whether or not social distancing took place plays an important role is calculating the spread
