Plot Connections
Two of the stories here have plot connections in that they both discuss the topic of death creating loneliness. In Penelope's Elegy Penelope's death creates a sense of loneliness for Odysseus as he now has to live with her constantly, but is unable to reach out to touch and embrace her
Stone Garden: While the sense of loneliness doesn't necessarily come from Medusa's untimely death. It still deals with that element as she does die in the story where she then meets Odysseus in the underworld.
Plot Contrasts
While two of the stories share the common topic of death in some form, my last story "Circe" does not deal with death, but life without Odysseus
Theme Contrasts
All the themes from these stories connect very strongly with each other in a sort of neat triangle. I would say the only conflict is that "Circe" doesn't deal with the absence of death, but as it isn't the main theme I am presenting they all connect very nicely

Technique Contrasts
The writing techniques used in these stories are all quite similar to each other in terms of how they display the emotions and feelings of the main characters. So there are not a lot of contrasting points between the three.
Technique Connections
The technique for all of these stories uses the themes of loneliness and desire very strongly and portrays the characters as very solitary and alone.

Stone Garden
-
Theme
My Personal Interpretation of the story is that the theme is based upon loneliness and desire. Medusa is forever confined to solitude by her ability. Even in death she shrouds her eyes as to not further harm more than she already had in life. She only desires a life where she can interact with people, but is not granted this opportunity due to her ability
Technique
The writing technique of the story captures the loneliness and solemness of the main character Medusa. The title also does an excellent job of framing the theme. It outlines Medusa all alone in her ever expanding stone garden of visitors

Circe by H.D.
Plot
The plot of the poem is discussing Circe's feeling of loneliness and lust for Odysseus following him leaving her to go home.
"I would give up rock-fringes of coral and the innermost chamber of my island palace and my own gifts and the whole region of my power and magic for your glance."
Theme
The theme of this poem is in relation to Circe's feelings of loneliness without Odysseus being with her anymore. She displays a strong sense of longing and lust for him wishing that she could bring Odysseus back to her once more.
-
Technique
The writing technique in this poem helps to portray Circe's feelings of want and desire towards Odysseus. It also shows the power that Circe posses and she asserts herself over men, and that pushes the point that she doesn't 'need' Odysseus, but rather highly desires him.

Penelope's Elegy
Technique
The writing technique in this story very clearly shows Odysseus' confusion at his wife's reaction. Then transitions to showing his sadness in her absence after finding out she had passed.

Theme
The theme of this short story correlates with the themes of the other two writings I am presenting. It shows the theme of loneliness and desire in Odysseus feeling alone without the presence of his wife any longer and desiring to once again be with her and to feel her touch
Elegy: "A poem of serious reflection, typically a lament for the dead." - Oxford Dict.
