If edema or bloating occurs after the patient has returned to normal eating behavior, reassure her that this phenomenon is temporary.

Use a consistent approach. Sit with the patient while eating; present and remove food without persuasion and comment. Promote a pleasant environment and record intake.
Provide smaller meals and supplemental snacks, as appropriate.

Pathophysiology
An eating disorder characterized by an abnormally low body weight, an intense fear of gaining weight and a distorted perception of weight. People with anorexia place a high value on controlling their weight and shape, using extreme efforts that tend to interfere with their lives.

Patient Education
Patient education for anorexia is teaching how the body will fail them is no changes are going to happen. Provide alternative ways to keep a healthy image with diet and healthy exercise strategies. Keep a food journal and weigh daily and provide local support groups.
Behavioral Interventions
The behavioral treatments for anorexia are group therapies/support groups. It is a group of people sharing each other's stories and experiences. There is another one called family therapy where it helps families talk to each other effectively.
