A huge staple of our society today is social media, and during the past six months, TikTok especially has become vital to teens and adults across the country.
COVID19 is obviously an unprecedented and ever present threat to our society right now, and our handling of it has been extremely poor
my favorite thing about being a young person is pushing things that are "societally acceptable" away and creating new standards, where everyone is treated fairly and equally. Things like women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, rights for POC and rights for immigrants are things our society should continue to accept and reform, because we're far from being done championing it

the two-party system has rapidly been becoming more and more polarized in recent years, and there's been lots of rhetoric going on that there can be no middle ground between them. it's causing many people to become dissatisfied with it, because efforts to depolarize things are in vain at this point.
the election has been a huge focal point of politics for these past four years, because we've never had such a huge disruptor in office before, and so many societal things hinge on the way the election goes
Innovation
it seems like iPhones are innovated every six months, and they've rapidly progressed to being bigger, better, and EVERYWHERE

social media and the skyrocketing usage of social platforms has been another innovation that has changed how we interact with each other today, and redefined what a career can look like in this time period
I don't know if you're a fan of Marvel movies, but one innovation I'm super interesting in seeing progress soon is artificial intelligence. It's kind of terrifying, but it definitely looks awesome in Iron Man
