UK wanted Germany to be punished, but not too harshly so that they were unable to trade. This was bad because Germany was punished harshly which lead to the collapse of their economy.
David Lloyd-George wanted Germany to be punished, but no too harshly because they still wanted to trade with them. He also wanted Germany's military and navy to be reduced so that their navy still was supreme. Finally, he also wanted to get some more land for the British Empire (taken off of Germany).
Germany
Germany had no say in what was inside of the Treaty of Versailles they just had to accept it which angered the German people.
The German people were angry at the Kaiser for accepting the terms of the Treaty and felt as though they had been stabbed in the back.

Woodrow Wilson didn't really want Germany to be punished too harshly, but he wanted to get his 14 point across and set up the League of Nations.

The American people felt that they Treaty was too harsh on the Germans and this is shown through many of the article cartoons shown at the time.
France
Georges Clemenceau wanted Germany to be treated harshly and for their military to be completely taken away. He also wanted reparations (£6.6 billion) to be paid for the damage caused by the war. He also wanted some of Germany's land in order to get parts of Fance back from Germany.
