Social Structure: In the chinese civilisation, the people beleived the emperors were the most important, followed by the nobles, merchants, craftsmen, farmers and lastly slaves. They soldiers were very respected too. The egyptians really respected their gods. They were thought to be the most powerful and could do anything. They also thought the pharoahs were like gods. There were governors and nobles then. The last category consisted of pheasants, farmers and slaves.

Language: The Indus Valley civilisation is not yet deciphered or even understood yet. People have different beleifs as to which languages were derived from there. Many people beleive sanskrite is similar to the Indus language. Here is a list of a few signs discovered. The principal languages of ancient Mesopotamia were Sumerian, Babylonian and Assyrian (together sometimes known as 'Akkadian'), Amorite, and - later - Aramaic. Location: The ancient Egyptian civilisation was located in Northeastern Africa, concentrated along the lower reaches of the Nile River, situated in the place that is now the country Egypt. All civilisations were along / on the banks of a river. The Indus valley civilisation was located along the banks of the indus river, now in morden Pakistan in the Punjab and Sindh provinces.Its extent reached as far south as the Gulf of Khambhat and as far east as the Yamuna River. .

ArchitectureThe best known example of ancient Egyptian architecture are the Egyptian pyramids while excavated temples, palaces, tombs and fortresses have also been studied. Most buildings were built of locally available mud brick and limestone by levied workers. Indus civilisation:Most were built of fired and mortared brick; some incorporated sun-dried mud-brick and wooden superstructures. Sites were often raised, or built on man made hills. This could be to combat flooding in the nearby areas. Another aspect of the architecture is they often built walls around their entire cities.

Religion was central to Mesopotamians as they believed the divine affected every aspect of human life. Mesopotamians were polytheistic; they worshipped several major gods and thousands of minor gods. Each Mesopotamian city, whether Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian or Assyrian, had its own patron god or goddess.Ancient Egyptian religion was a complex system of polytheistic beliefs and rituals that formed an integral part of ancient Egyptian society. Formal religious practice centered on the pharaohs, the rulers of Egypt, believed to possess divine powers by virtue of their positions.

The Chinese invented many things we use daily. Some great inventions are paper, the printer, gunpowder and the compass.The Sumerians were very inventive people. It is believed that they invented the sailboat, the chariot, the wheel, the plow, and metalurgy. They developed cuneiform, the first written language. image

The Sumerian King List is an ancient text in the Sumerian language, listing kings of Sumer (ancient southern Iraq) from Sumerian and neighboring dynasties, their supposed reign lengths, and the locations of the kingship. This text is preserved in several recensions. The list of kings is sequential, although modern research indicates many were contemporaries, reflecting the belief that kingship was handed down by the gods and could be transferred from one city to another, asserting to a hegemony in the region.
