Lactation: In the text it said that the ancient Egyptians lived near the Nile river or in various canals coming off from it. This land was also known ad the black land cause after flooding there would be rich dark silt.(Heart 8)
Religion:In the text it said The Egyptians worship hundreds of different gods and sometimes it was difficult to work out who was who. Overall, the sun god was the dominant deity in Egypt religion. Amun-Re was king of the gods and protector if the pharaoh when he went on military campaigns.
Art: Ancient Egyptian art refers to art produced in ancient Egypt between the 31st century BC and the 4th century AD. It includes paintings, sculptures, drawings on papyrus, faience, jewelry, ivories, architecture, and other art media. It is also very conservative: the art style changed very little over time.
Writing: In the text it says that hieroglyph were there form of writing which used pictures to convey object and feeling there was about 700 different signs. It is said they deliberately left it complicated so that not many people could master it and so scribes could keep their special positions Scribes were the people that wrote hieroglyphics and only few people were taught how tot write them at very young age. (Heart 34)
Government: In the text is says the would hold a royal court where only the King, pharaoh and high priests were allowed to attend. It is said that the Kings were looked up to that when people up to being that when people approached the king they often kissed the ground bye his feet. ( Heart 12)
Architecture
ancient Egyptian architecture are the Egyptian pyramids while excavated temples, palaces, tombs and fortresses have also been studied. Most buildings were built of locally available mud brick and limestone by levied workers.

Writing: In the text it said Kings during the Shang dynasty used oracle bones to talk to ancestors. The people would use tortoiseshells and ox bones in order to inscribe questions. The questions are inscribed into the bones. (Cotterell pge 11)
