mesopotamia
religion in the text it said that a god or a goddess was worshipped within each city . the sumerians believed in the stars moving across the sky were the cows of sin (Steele 14)
location i know because most of the land is in modern day iraq. A great river the tigris in the taurus mountains to join the euphrates river (Steele)
architecture i know that the architecture they had ziggurats that they made ands the top part they had laid down offering to the gods so they would be happy with them(Steele 24)
government city state rulers were honored with various titles such as king governor and lord the reigns of each dynasty were recorded on tablets known as king lists (Steele 10)
art the mesopotamians made potter that helped make them pottery and out of pottery this helped them make all different kinds of things like plates vases utensils and much more ( Steele 28)
writing they had a writing technique called cuneiform which had them write on clay and wait until the clay had hardened or dried so they would become tablets of writing (Steele 12)

Writing On page 34 it states that Hieroglyphics were used on state monuments temples,tombs and religious papyri.they could be written left to right right to left and top to bottom (Hart 34)
Architecture on page 20 it states that The great pyramid at giza was issued to be build for king khufu in 2589 BC. Also it says the pyramids were meant to protect the bodies of the pharaoh buried deep inside them. Hart 20
Art On page 56 it states that you can see the glint of gold everywhere in egyptian jewelry mines between the nile river and the red sea cost.Also on this page it says From mines to sinai peninsula came light blue turquoise and trade routes from afghanistan(Hart 56)
Religion On page 24 it says that the egyptians worshiped hundreds of gods and goddess and sometimes it was hard to work out who was who.Many of the gods were represented by animals for example baboon might stand for thoth the god of wisdom (Hart 24)
Government On page 10 it say that The king was the most powerful and important man in Egypt he was also thought to be a god among men.He was known as the pharaoh a word that derives in respectful way describing him as the great house meaning the place were he lived (Hart 10)
location on page 8 it said over 90 percent of Egypt was covered in desert which is known as the red land.The people lived on the banks of the nile that would make the land fertile.(Hart 8)

technology/architecture In the text it states that they cities were known to show remnants of the the worlds first sanitation system. They also had advanced architecture techniques like dockyards,protection walls and ware houses. They also had different drains and they way that they used to obtain water and with their advanced way of living ( prentice hall world studies)
government In the text it states the government was a caste system that had things like the rankings with brahmins, as the priest as the top of the branch. The cast was a social group system that ranked people in terms of power. And also the lowest class of people the untouchables that were not known to be touched because they were so disgusting.

location An example is over time a vast number of civilizations were built along the indus river. The indus river covers most of South Asia including modern day Pakistan,India and Afghanistan. The indus river valley was a place that had good soil for agriculture.
