National recovery administration (NRA) - March 12, 1933
(Industry)
Increase workers wages, increase the prices of factory goods, give workers a farer deal in the workplace.
(This has some recovery factors because it is very focused on the economy and the price for certain goods.)

Wages were increased so workers would be able to spend on goods
Factory goods prices would also increase so the owners could employ more people with the profit

It was a success because more people were employed in factories and the code would have to be respected thus the workers would be better treated
The second new deal
The social security act (1953)
(the needy)
The aim was to introduce this for the benefit of old, sick and the unemployed
Positive
- This gave a state pension to the old, sickened unemployed
- This supported handicapped people and mothers that couldn't work, this also gave unemployment insurance scheme which were provided by the individual states which aided from the federal government
Negative
- This took money from the government that could be spent in other fields that needed it
This was very much a success given that more people could have stable money to live off and they could still pay rent even though they were not in a stable job or were unable to work. This was one of the best decisions even though it took money form the government.
