- - - - Its aim was to create public works of real and lasting value; $7 billion was spent employing skilled men to build dams, bridges, sewage systems and houses.

      - Negatives: People were encouraged to buy products from companies that were signed to the NRA- some firms could not afford to rise the prices of their factories due to the market equilibrium tus not being able to rise the wages of their employees. Therefore, they could not be part of the NRA and people would not be encouraged to buy from them.
  - - - Positives: Between 1933 and 1939 farmers incomes doubled
      - Negative: AAA helped farmers but not tenants and sharecroppers who worked on the land- they were evicted because there was not enough work for them to do and farmers replaced them w/ machinery
