Ancient Egypt
Writing: In the text it says Scribes had to be experts in writing hieroglyphs. An elaborate form of picture-writing with about 700 different signs. They could be written from left to right, right to left, or top to bottom. (Hart 34) 
Location: In the text it said the majority of Egypt was covered by desert. As a result, the ancient Egyptians lived near the Nile River, which was named the "Black Land" because of the dark silt. (Hart 8) 
Architecture: In the text it says that the king's chamber is in the middle of the palace/home. Another example is that they had limestone core. (Hart 21) 
Art: In the text it says that they had a lot of earrings that they wore all the time. Another example is that they had necklaces they were made of many different things like a Cowrie shell. (Hart 56)

Government: In the text it said that the king and the court would be gathered together and the top officials. When the lower officials approved the farrow they were meant to kiss the ground around them but they changed that and had kiss kiss the royal leg. (Hart 12)

Religion: In the text it said That Egyptians worshiped hundreds of gods and goddesses. Many of the gods were represented as animals. (Hart 24)

writing: In the text it said kings during the Shang dynasty used oracle bones to talk to ancestors. The people would use tortoiseshells and ox bones in order in inscribes questions. The questions would be in scripted in the bones. (Cotterell 11)

Ancient India
Religion: In the text it said the Aryans came from an area of Central Asia near the Caucasus Mountains, moving southeast and eventually taking over the entire Indus Valley by the year 1500 BC. They spoke a language called Sanskrit, which became the basis of many modern South Asian language. (Prentice Hall: world studies)
Location: The Author wrote that the Indus Valley civilization covered the modern-day country of Pakistan, the Northwestern portion of India, and a bit of Afghanistan. In the region, under layers of dirt, people found remains of 4,000 year old cities. Around 5000 years ago, along the civilization developed and it was close to a major water source.(Prentice Hall: world source)
Writing: In the text it said over 400 symbols have been uncovered from different locations. Most of the symbols are located on seals, ceramic pots, and other types of materials. The Ancient civilization's writing still cannot be deciphered. (Prentice Hall: World studies)
Architecture/Technology: In the text it said The people within the Indus Valley created well-planned cities. the people during this time cared deeply about hygiene, and their cities resembled the importance of this idea. These early cities show remnants of the world's earliest sanitation system; With the cities, people could obtain water from wells. (Prentice Hall: world studies)
Government: In the text it said one of the aryans influenced modern day India to develop the caste system. The caste system began because the aryan had four social classes which were called the varnas. The people were divided based on their wealth and occupation. (Prentice Hall: world source)
