Ancient Egypt
Art: I know there was art because displayed on walls and papyrus, there were party scenes, songs, and musical instruments to show us they were being entertained. There was also music performed on everyday occasion, as well as on farms.

Location: In the text it said that egypt was mostly covered with desert( 90%) They called this the "red land". In the text it also says that egypt lived by the nile river and when it floods, they got rich silt when these floods did hit.(hart 8) 
Writing: In the text it says That scribes had to be perfect when writing these hieroglyphics. They had to right about 700 symbols. For businesses they wrote things that were faster versions of hieroglyphics.
Government: On page 22, It says when a pharaoh dies they get buried away from the floods and get a monument built for them. When these bodies are buried in these temples, They are heavily guarded to prevent robbers.(Hart)
Religion: In the text it says the egyptians had many gods and goddesses. Some of those gods and goddesses are, Khosu, a moon god, Khepri, a beatle rolling the sun disk, and Re-Harkey, the great hawk soaring in the sky. (Hart 24)
Architecture: In the text it said that the first pyramid was built as the burial place of king djoser in 2650 bce. The pyramids were first known as the "step pyramids" because it represented as a giant stairway that the king could clime to join the sun god(Hart 20)

writing: In the text it says the oracle bone was used to consult the spirits of ancestors. Usually it was constructed from tortoise shell or an ox bone. Cracks formed would help them find answers to questions (cotterell 11)
