Mesopotamia
Religion: On page 14/15 it said that each city had its own deity. Nippur had a great temple Erill for example. Later on Mesopotamian peoples took up or adapted Sumerian gods, sometimes giving them new names. (Steele 14-15)
Location: On page 6/7 it said at one time Mesopotamia existed in modern-day Turkey, Syria, and southwestern Iran. Mesopotamia also was located next to two great rivers, the Tigris, which rises from the Taurus Mountains as well the Eurphrates. (Steele)
Government: The author wrote that their city of Ashur began to grow wealthy due to trading with Anatolia and as early as 2000 BCE. The Assyrians are remembered in history as cruel and ruthless warriors, but they were also scholars, lovers of art, builders of magnificent cities, and loyal worshipers of their god chief, Ashur. (Steele)
Writing: In the text it said at first Sumerians used pictured symbols to represent objects like cattle, grain, and fish. Over time they started developing more symbols and eventually had about 700 different symbols pg.12/13

Art: The author wrote that they have a wooden carved hedgehog toy for children, which was either considered an offering from the gods, or a childs toy. Also, the world's oldest known dice were found at Tepe Gawra, near the modern city of Mosul, and date from about 2750 BCE. (Steele)
Architecture (Buildings): The author wrote that there ziggurats and temples were supposed to represent a mountain stretching from the Earth to the Heavens. They thought that their temples and ziggurats were earthly dwelling places of the gods. (Steele 12-13)

Writing: In the text it said the Oracle bone
was made from an ox bone or tortoiseshell.
The bone/shell was scorched in order to uncover answers to questions. The Shang people used the oracle bone to communicate with their ancestors. (Cotterell pg.11)

Religion: In the text it said the religion of the Aryans were Brahmanism, and were polytheistic. They were also heavily influenced by Hinduism. Their religion also has many rituals commenced.

Location: In the text it said the Indus Valley was very good for agriculture because it had fertile soil. Around 5,000 years ago, an alluvial plain developed into a civilization. The Indus River Valley covers most of modern-day Pakistan, the northwestern portion of India, and a bit of Afghanistan.

Writing: In the text it said over 400 different symbols have been found by different locations. Most symbols are located on seals, pots, and other materials. Due to the lack of text we can not get any insights on the Indus River.

Government: In the text it said The Aryans lived in Ganas which means "collections."The Aryans were developed by a caste system. They had four social classes known as the varnas.

Architecture/Technology: In the text it said within the Indus River, many people built advanced cities. People could obtain water due to the cities. The city was very well planned, with many good streets, and many architectural buildings.
