Not getting enough food, leads to undernourishment and this is what happens to many people living in poverty
In 2019, the number of people who didn’t have regular access to safe, nutritious and sufficient food was estimated at 2 billion in the world. (UN)
Asia still has the majority of the world’s undernourished people which is at 381 million. Africa has a growing number of undernourished people where more than 250 million live and it’s growing faster than anywhere. (UN)

A new study found that people who experience discrimination are almost twice as likely as others to struggle with hunger.
