Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines
Young people (13-17 years)
60 mins of VPA per day and Several hours of LPA & Sedentary 2 hours
Adults (18-64 years)
150-300 mins MPA 75-150 VPA each week muscle strengthening 2 days & minimise sitting
School Children (5-12 years)
60 mins of VPA per day and Several hours of LPA & Sedentary 2 hours
Adults 65+
30 mins of MPA everyday
Infants and Children (0-5 years)
180 mins a day & 60mins of basic skills & Sedentary to one hour a day
Health Risks due to inactivity and sedentary behaviour
