Sherry is always a good student that get excellent grades at school as her parents expect them to be
However, she gets tired of studying in her country's education and she wants to go study abroad in the United States
Although Sherry always gets high grades, she is lost the track of knowing her future's intentions
But as in a strict family, she does not know how to persuade her parents to support and accept her dream
Plot and resolution
Plot
Sherry is an excellent student at school but she is losing her track and motivation to continue studying as she gets tired of it. She wants to go study abroad in the United States as it is her dream.
However, as she talks about it with her parents, they ignore her at first because they think she will not make it. Her parents think what she said is just her temporary intention
After that, she does not give up and keeps saying it. Her parents finally notice it. As always being a supporter, Martha, Sherry's mom starts to help her about it.
On the other hand, Johnnie, Sherry's father, protests her decision, he does not Sherry to go anywhere
Sherry is extremely frustrated about it and she does not know how to deal with her father
One day, her father finally says that he will let her go if she has a scholarship from a school
Resolution
Sherry is jubilate about her father's decision
After that, Sherry dives into a period of time studying as hard as she can in order to get a scholoship
After some obstacles, she makes it and her father has no reason to stop her
