How can we make a pencil case that will be appealing to upper primary.
Should it be divided up into sections
these pencil cases are designed for the younger students so and their most likely to lose their tools pencils or other things so if we divide the pencil cases in sections i think its easier for them to keep everything organized.

What items should it hold
A pencil case should hold a pencil, pen, highlighter, Pencil sharpener, a ruler, eraser, and a compass
Scissors and calculators are larger items that could be used in special classes such as math and arts and crafts so we may be able to specialise for subjects that may require more supplies
To find out students needs we can send a survey asking what students may require because some may have different needs
What materials should be used to make the pencil case
We should used nice materials like fabric these are nice to the touch and aren't too distracting to a student
We can interview students and ask them what materials they like best and why they should get that.
We should also consider what fabrics are the most resistant material that can be cheap and lightweight. This can increase production.
How many of each item should it hold
it depends what type of items they are and how much space. they need
for example for tools at least 3 to 4 and for pens and pencils at least 5 places for them to hold them because if the student lost any of the materials then they have access to the other ones
To find the answer we can send a survey. In it, we would ask how many of each item and when we get the results back we can see what the students really need. It may also impact our design.
Can it be used in all classroom scenarios
yes because these pencil cases are going to be designed in a way that has space for each class and they have a-lot of space to put the tools and etc in pencil cases
What dimensions should it fit in
the pencilcases shouldnt be so big because it makes it really hard for client to carry it easily
were trying to design the pencil-cases the way that the makes it easier for the client to carry it and were trying to make it as light as possible so it makes also easy to carry it around.
What can make it appealing to users
We can also make a survey showing a variety of pencil case accessories and we can see from the students what they like the most
To make our pencil cases nice we can add some accessories such as key rings or pom poms
How much does it cost to make a good quality pencil case
I think our pencil case is definitely going to be in the range of 50-60 tl because when we went to investigate on websites we found that most pencil cases where in that range which will make it the most appealing.
We can also make a survey asking people what price range they want our product this will give us a perspective on how much a customers are willing to pay
How should it be divided up
It should be divided up into to four sections which house all the different supplies. For example one section could be for white out and erasers and sharpeners, Another section could include pens and pencils. The third section would include highlighters and coloured pens and pencils. The last section would be miscellaneous and would house specialised items like rulers scissors etc...
We could also include zippers that can make it customisable making it only have two sections or three. This would be difficult to add but if can be implemented into the final design it would be greatly improve the pencil case because it allows for customization.
Is it good in the environment when it is disposed of
we will try our best to use more recyclable materials that are easier to be disposed but with a good quality
so wee gonna make this pencil case with the materials that has no pollution and they are not bad for the environment and at the same time easier to to recycle
