- - - - This implies that these films may be on demand so therefore a mainstream film. When looking at certain movie chains, such as Odeon and cineworld, they tend to show many different genres of films. The most popular genres of films at Cineworld are seen to be; drama, for example boyhood, sci-fi, for example Under the Skin, family for example toy story.
      - When distributing our film we would look at the different film festivals to get our film out there. Distribution is the most important part of the film industry where the film is then brought to life and large audiences would indeed help with the amount of people viewing our film.
        
        Some festivals below are ones that would represent our film well and would fit the mood of the festival:
        
        1. The Cannes Film Festival, Cannes
        This is a french and english film festival which previews all new films of all different genres.
        
        2. TIFF, Toronto
        This festival is the leading public film festival in the world, it screens over 300 films from over 60 countries.
        
        3.TriBeCa, New York City
        This festival is hosted in a neighbourhood in Manhattan and it shows a diverse selection of independent films.
        
        4. Raindance Festival, London, New York, Vancouver and Toronto.
        This is an independent film festival and film school that creates films.

- - - - Due to the fact that our film is independent simultaneous release is more attractive. If we are not well known many people may not pay to watch our film, however if we also stream it on streaming sites it may get more views and our film status may become more developed.
        
        When looking at our film we do not make it for a profit incentive yet just to get our material out there. This is also a bonus of Simultaneous release as it is a positive way to get our material out there on many different platforms that are available to most of the population.
        
        One film we know that used Simulataenous distribution is A Field in England. This was successful for their film to get it out to the audiences and also they were not after profit much like us. This allows us to look at their success rates when using simultaneous distribution.
        
        As a result, I believe that simultaneous release does seem to be the best option to release our film into the industry. :
- - - - To ensure to attract the audience we decided to include a letter being read at the end of the film. This intrigues the audience and gives a sense of mystery that will ensure to keep them watching.
      - The gentle tone of our film, including calming non-diegetic sound alongside quite diegetic sound leaves a realistic but gentle tone. This can attract a wide range of audiences as it is calm and tame rather than loud and intense.
      - Our understanding that films such as Forest Gump are highly enjoyed allowed us to interpret and recreate a similar feel. This gives recognition to the audience to other films that they may in fact be interested in. Our similar feel was when Forest Gump reflects on his younger days of himself running. Here, Charlie is running which fades into younger Charlie running in the same spot.
