PAST SIMPLE TENSE

In the past form, the verb to be is divided into two groups depending on the subjects:

Past simple 2, the vengeance: Regular verbs
In past simple, regular verbs have an -ed ending. It's the same for all subjects.
RULES:
- If a verb ends with consonant + y, change the y for i and add ed. Study: studied. Marry: married.
- If a verb ends in 1 vowel + 1 consonant, we double the final consonant + ed. Stop: stopped. Travel: travelled.
I walked to the park. Carla opened the window. It started to rain in the afternoon. You played well yesterday.
