What accessories will be displayed in the product ?
Why: I will research this information because my product's function is to organize any room in the house. Because the customers can move the accessories around to match what they personally prefer, I have to design different accessories that will make most of my customers happy. To find this information I will have to research which accessories would be best to include to my product.
How: I will find this information by firstly finding a product that is similar to mine and I will look at the reviews online and see what people liked and disliked about the product so I can make this product the best version it could possibly be. Secondly, I know my friend has a desk organizer that has some of the same aspects as my product and I will ask her different questions, such as "Which accessory is the most functional", and based on those answers I will create my product.

Source: As I said before, I will be researching online and asking my friend in person to find answers to this research question, therefore I will use both PRIMARY and SECONDARY SOURCES
What software/programs am I going to use to design this product?
Why: I will research this information because it is important to know which software is the best to use for my final product to be successful. I will do both, 3D print and laser-cut, therefore I want to find the best website that will allow me to 3D print and laser cut and make my product unique and functional, as well as asuring me that my product will work propperly once 3D printed and laser cut. I need a software that will show me how my design will look like if it was in 3D and it has to be a reliable software because I might have to make some arrangements to the product and when I 3D print the accessories they have to look exactly how they did on the software.
How: I will find this information by asking my PD teacher, Mr Matthew what softwares he thinks I should use to 3D print (smaller sized accessories) and which software I should use to laser cut the holes in the wooden board. I will ask Mr matthew because he knows a lot about 3D printing and laser cutting and I am 100% sure he will suggest the best software that will help me the most with my product.

How many accessories will fit on the organizer?
Why: I will research this information because after I research which accessories are the most helpful to organize certain parts of the house, I will have to take inspiration from them and modify them so they can fit different locations of the house, for example the pen and pencil holder could become toothbrush and toothpaste holder depending on where the product is located in the house. This is also important because I need to also base how many accessories I can include on the size of the wooden board
How: I will research what the size of the different organizers should be online, I will go to review websites and find products similar to mine and see what people have to say about the sizes and based on that information I will be able to know how many accessories will fit into the 500mm by 375mm sheet of laser ply (wood)

Which other materials will be used ?
Why: I will research which other materials would be helpful to organize different parts of the house. I will also try to find which other stronger materials I can use because the acrylic from the 3D printer is not very strong and will break when strong objects are placed on them. I might also have to use a see through material for the pencil holders to make sure the customer knows exactly where all their personal belongings are. I have to research this question because personally I dont know which materials would be convenient to include to my product to make it the best it could be therefore to be able to find these things I will have to research which materials are the most sustainable and best to use.
How: I will research online different materials that are sustainable and could be modified. I will research this by looking through different workshop websites and looking at which materials they could provide me with that I could shape them into an accessory for my product. If I can't find a specific answer on these websites, I will ask my PD teacher Mr. Matthew because he will know exactly what to recommend to me and give me his honest opinion.

How will this product be aimed for both teenagers and adults?
Why: I will research this question because the target audience for my project are teenagers, young adults and adults. I have to design this product in a way which the majority of my costumers are satisfies with my product. It is important that people of different ages like my product because they are the ones who will purchase it.
How: I will make a survey and I will ask different people from ages 13 to 50 what they would like to see in an organizer and which accessories they would like to see in the product that would be convenient for them personally.
Source: I will be getting all my answers straight from the people who will answer my survey, therefore this will be a PRIMARY source research question.

How will this product be successful?
Why: I will research this question because I need to know what I need to do for my product to be the best it could ever be. To make a successful product I need to know what the customers prefer and what they think would benefit from, as well as knowing which accessories will help them organize their home the most to allow them to live an organized and calm life.
How: I will find this information from a survey that I will make asking people what they would like to see in their dream organizer and which part of their home they need to organize the most, from those answers I will have an idea which accessories for different parts of the house I should design and what their function is.
Source: Because I will be getting all my answers straight from the people who will answer my survey, this research question will be a PRIMARY source.
