My mom influences me by constantly pushing me to do my best in school and in life. She is always there to guide me in difficult times and I get my kindness and compassion from her.
My dad works extremely hard to support me. He is the reason why I am educated. He also influences my faith by encouraging me to take part in church/ church activities.
Lahanna is my best friend. We are constantly together and influence each other. Our personalities and interests have rubbed off on each other. She encourages me not to be so lazy and to get out of the house.
Even though my sister lives far away, she still has a big influence on my life. She is one of my role models and she inspires me to become successful/ independent.
I look up to my brothers, each for a different reason. Alex inspires me to be strong and hard working. Ivan inspires me to follow my dreams/ passions. Justin inspires me to always be kind and courageous.
My faith plays a huge part in my life and is constantly influencing my actions. It is the little voice in the back of my head that helps me to determine ride from wrong; guides me down the righteous path. (this is a picture from my confirmation last week!)
Music influences my mood. I can be having a horrible day, but if one of my favorite songs come on I'm instantly in a better mood. Music can empower and inspire you. (this is one of my favorites artists, Kehlani)
Castro Valley is the place where I grew up and currently live. I am privileged to live in a nice area. The people here (or the ones I've met) are kind.
TikTok and social media in general have a huge influence on me. They influence my interests depending on whats trending and can inspire me with empowering content.
My dad immigrated from Mexico, so Mexico influences my home life and my identity. All around the house there are constant reminders of our culture and it inspires me to make my ancestors proud.
