saddle joint: carpometacarpal joint of thumb, sternoclavicular joint of chest (both bones have articular surfaces)
gliding joint: wrist, facet joint of spine (a type of synovial joint that's formed between bones and meet at a articular surfaces)
ball and socket joint: hip, shoulder (the rounded surface of bone moves within a depression on another bone)
fixed joint: skull (they are fixed and doesn't allow any movements, held together by connective tissue)
hinge joint: elbows, knees, and ankles (bones move in one direction back with other planes)
