Ancient Civilizations
Egypt, one of the smarter civilizations, settled in a much larger area than Mesopotamia. They had different city centers and places in the city that depended on elevation. Trade cities and towns were in lower Egypt, in the northern half of the colony. The religious and government buildings however were found in higher Egypt, in the lower half of the colony where the elevation was higher. This way, their main buildings and structures would be harder to attack and people felt closer to the gods the higher up in elevation they went.
China, perhaps the most populated and brutal civilization relied on sheer man power and labor to build a strong power. With a lot of followers comes a lot of non followers and rebels. Every hundred years or so the people would revolt and overthrow the current leader. This lead to the dynasties with each of them being more advanced as time went on. The interesting thing about china was that they never really attacked or got attacked, but their main struggle was within the borders of their civilization
Mesopotamia, the land between 2 rivers was one of the first real civilizations with order and citizens. They were also one of the first civilizations to settle around rivers, for the added benefits that water has. They also invented the first written law, hammaruabis code.
India, perhaps the most intelligent and technically advanced civilization used their advancements in human intelligence and architecture to make a strong civilization. They built their empires around the central government buildings, these were called city-states. inside the city-states featured buildings that were made out of even proportioned oven-baked bricks, that made the houses extra stable. Inside these evenly created brick homes featured plumbing with working toilets and showers. India's advancement in technology was

Qin, the first dynasty of Imperial China, lasting from 221 to 206 BC.
Han, the second imperial dynasty of China, established by the rebel leader Liu Bang and ruled by the House of Liu.
Zou One of the earliest dynasties that can be considered a significant dynasty. Also is the longest lasting in china's history

Indian Ocean, the most popular water route that had predictable monsoon season and winds that allowed sailors to time their travel.
Silk Road, used by many to access the new fabric silk that was produced in china.
