Dewey played a strong role in education development and progressive movement in the United States
He urged parents to find ways to help children learn how to be socially responsible people
He also believed that education was part of life
Dewey believed that each child learned best when they interact with other people side by side with peers and adults
Also that each curriculum should grow out of the home, work and real life situations.
teachers needed so have self confidence in their knowledge and use their abilities they have learned
He believed each student needed to be observed on a individual bases and the teacher should know the child well.

NAP believed that each student should be observed indvidiually and to get to know each child well in each group
and also to make learning fun and interesting for children
NAP also believed students should be values for their cultures and famile's backgrounds
teachers needed programs so they could use their abilities and knowledge to help with learning
also to create curriculum that fit each student
NAP believed Acknowledge, Ask, and Adapt
In 1899 Dewey gave a talk to parents of children in school
he felt thoughts and experiences from other teachers experiences were important
Also to teach divirsity
to make every child feel comfortable

As I can see Dewey and NAP have a lot in common in what they wanted to students educations such as values and cultures. Also making sure all students were individually observed and make sure each student has curriculum to fit their needs to learn
speak to families about past issues and what they done to help the child adapt with them
have alternative approacches
Dewey believed teachers needed to decide what was safe for children mentally and individually
make projects to help children learn
brining in activities like the dolls to help the kids see differences
Dewey's and his wife worked together to make education for children of America
most of Dewey's work relevant to the struggles of educators of the United states
child education must be both active and interactive
Dewey agreed that the progressive education allowed to much freedom
