GERUND
A gerund is a verb form that ends in “-ing”.
Walking, traveling, voting
After prepositions

INFINITIVE
It is the base form of a verb preceded by “to”:
to walk, to travel, to vote
After many adjectives

To show purpose

It was too late to express my opinion.
