When to use?
-It can also be used to express the probability of an action that has already been completed.
-The conditional perfect describes an action in the past that would have happened but did not due to some other event.
Examples
- Show how the conditional is used to talk about actions that would have happened had something else not been in the way
eg: yo habría comprado los regalos pero no tenía tiempo
Él habría leído el libro, pero el teléfono soño
- These examples show the tense talking about an action that probably happened or was true
eg: habría comido antes de salir
