A Great Leader
We must have the qualities of being a leader since we have a lot of roles and responsibilities. Our work does not settle in the classroom only, we also have responsibilities to our external stakeholders such as in our community.
A great teacher maintains professionalism in all areas
A great teacher remains calm and postured even under pressure.
Subject knowledge and passion
A student cannot appreciate if the subject is does not affect their daily lives. The teacher will teach the learners about the relevance of the topic in applying it in the real world.
Open to learning and improvement
Teachers should always open doors to new knowledge, but should be the master of the development.
Versatile
Teachers are the “jack of all trades”. This implies that having a sufficient knowledge about a certain topic is not enough but one must possess skills that can handle various circumstances not just inside the classroom but also in the real-world.

A great teacher can think outside of the box. She may think of another plan if the first one isn't working
Respective
Teachers must show good manners towards their students so they will gain the same respect in return.They must own a grateful attitude since they are the exemplar of the youth.
Understanding the wider purposes of education
An effective teacher scaffolds the learners on their way to understand themselves, their purpose, goals and dreams.

This implies to the students learning. The mind of a child is a “Tabula rasa” meaning that it is a blank slate. When a teacher delivers a new lesson, this is an act of injecting new knowledge to the learners. An effective teacher urges students to learn more and discover new ideas on their own. :

An effective teacher contemplates. Asking question like “what is the most appropriate strategy to derive this lesson?” “What makes my students understand the lesson effectively? “ Is it appropriate for all of my students?

A good teacher cares for his/her students and everyone inside and outside the campus. .
