How humans impact natural environments
Rainforest
Humans are impacting rainforest by deforestation; because of this, rainforests can desappear within 100 years
Grassland
although grasslads don´t have many trees, they are still being chopped, and the problems caused because of this are produced by humans
grasslands have some plants like grasses and shrubs, and desertification caused by global warming and farming methos are drying the soil, this will kill vegetation and most animals
grasslands are affected by deforestation, and desertification
Desert
these problems can lead to droughts and arid conditions
Deserts are getting dryer, so soil is drying out, because of farming methods and human activities
deserts are affected by humans because of desertification of soil and land. Effects include land degradation, erosion, loss of biodiversity
Homes of many animals are being destroyed
Carbon dioxide is released, which causes global warming
Tundra
Many parts of the region have experienced several consecutive years of record-breaking winter warmth since the late 20th century.
While the average global surface-air temperature has risen by approximately 0.9 °C (about 1.5 °F) since 1900, average surface air temperatures in the Arctic have risen by 3.5 °C (5.3 °F) over the same period.
The effects of climate change on tundra regions have received extensive attention from scientists as well as policy makers and the public.
Aquatic
Human influences in the lower Athabasca basin include the oil sands operations, pulp and paper mills, municipal discharges, and, to a lesser extent, forestry and agriculture.
Human effects on aquatic ecosystems can result from pollution, changes to the landscape or hydrological systems, and larger-scale impacts such as global climate change.
Human activities affect marine ecosystems as a result of pollution, overfishing, the introduction of invasive species, and acidification, which all impact on the marine food web and may lead to largely unknown consequences for the biodiversity and survival of marine life forms.
