BIOMOLECULES
Proteins
They are amino acid composed organic molecules that have other purpose apart from building muscle, like keeping the immune system okay, they are also structural parts of hormones, enzymes, cells, antibodies, etc.
Proteins can be found in a lot of common foods like meats, legumes, algae, nuts, dairy, insects or fungi
-
Nucleic Acids
They are amino acid composed organic molecules and their most important purpose is to serve as a template for protein synthesis, they carry DNA and RNA, for so responsible of the difference between organisms
We can found them in every single food that was alive before eating it, because every living things have genetic codes
-
Carbohydrates
Their main purpose is to serve as fuel for the cells activities, it is a a very fast power source that can be used in a relatively short lapse of time after being eaten. In animals it is known as glycogen, starch in plants and also as Glucose
It has mostly a sweet taste and it can be found in foods like cereal, pasta, fruits and vegetables, bread or even in candies or soda

Questions:
- What is the difference between lipids and carbohydrates.
- Why doesn´t the fish meat provides the same protein as the other meats and they provide lipids
- How can nucleic acid be a templete for protein usage or synthesis
