The Water Cycle:
Water evaporates from the oceans and forms clouds. The wind blows the clouds inland and they condensate to form rain, snow, hail, and sleet. The snow, hail and sleet melt, joining the rain on the ground. Most of this is either soaked up by the plants or goes away as surface run-off to rivers and lakes, where it eventually rejoins the sea. Some small percentage of this water, however, percolates into the ground (seeps into the ground) and makes its way to underwater rivers.
