        In the Book there is Kurtz but before meeting him and being introduced to him physically, this man is shown through different points of view by people who each have a different opinion and have an individual perception of him
        
        but some view him as one of the worst people on earth
        
        It's scandalous how everyone has a different view over the same person

        Sometimes Conrad writes very long periods and sometimes very short, because in your mind there's not an order.

    - - PAG 92. Heart of darkness talks about Conrad’s journey in Congo, a Belgian colony. During his travels, he sees the consequences of colonisation and criticises it. He talks about how the colonisers are exploiting the local people. In the passage “Meeting the other”, Conrad tells the readers how he thinks that colonialism is nothing more than the exploitation of man after seeing 6 black men chained to each other.
