set theory
Set theory is a branch of mathematical logic that studies sets, which informally are collections of objects. Although any type of object can be collected into a set, set theory is applied most often to objects that are relevant to mathematics. The language of set theory can be used to define nearly all mathematical objects.
and problems with sets can be prepared.

Each of a set of objects is called an element of that set. Sets are usually named with capital letters such as A, B, and C. If an element x is an element of the set A, we write it in the form x e A and read as “x is element A.” Members of an element x set A write this as x 4 and read as “A is not an element of x”. The number of elements of a set is denoted by s (A).
