Napoleon imprisioned Charles IV and his son Ferdinand VII and forced them to abdicate in his favor.
In many Spanish cities were organized Autonomous Board that promise to govern until the return of Fernando VII to the throne, but were dissolved by the French.
Only the western part of Andalusia was tree. The Junta de Sevilla was proclaimed Supreme Government of all Spain.

From Juntas To Wars
The boards were called interim depositories of sovereignty until the legitimate king returned. The reactions of the Spanish led to polarization and the Creole elites multiplied. A true continental war for several years.
Spanish authorities repressed the first of the cities to form a Sovereing Junta in Quito. No salt.

Mexico
On September 16, 1810, Mexico made its cry for independence years later, on July 27, 1821, it became independent.
Central America
Belice, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Made its cry of independence on November 5, 1811 and achieved independence on September 15, 1821
Cuba
On October 10, 1868, Cuba made its cry for independence and could become independent on December 10, 1899.

Brasil's first cry for independence was developed on May 25, 1810 and finally became independent on July 9, 1816
