Telegraph helped people speak to each other from long distance
It first started within 100km. But then started to increase and people were then able to communicate with each other even if they lived in different continents
This was able to be done with the help of modifications

Experiment started with two strings that were connected by a long piece of wire

In 1826 the first photography was taken by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce who is a french inventor.
Photography or taking photos is very different and hard from what we do now at that time to take a picture you need to stay still for a long time Like : hours.
And the quality of the pictures aren't the same as now.
Queen Victoria became the first monarch to ever be photographed, and by the end of her reign George Eastman had set up the Kodak company, and cameras were sold for the first time.
Penny Farthing🚲
The Penny Farthing was the first machine to be called a 'bicycle'
It had a large wheel infront which is six foot tall and a much smaller back wheel.It was invented by James Starley
Later, bicycle with the 2 wheels of equal size was invented
Penny Farthing ws dangerous due to the great height of the wheel,plus there were no brakes!

Wihout the invention of Penny Farthing we would not have bicycles
Bicycles improve over time, and now they come in different shapes and colours

Elias Howe worked for 5 years to develop the first sewing machine
The machine didn't get as much attention as much it should in America, so it was decided to start being sold in England
When the sewing machine was in England, it was decided to be for £250
